When you land at Leh Airport, our staff will meet you and take you to your hotel. Since Leh is 11,000 feet, we advise you to rest and drink plenty of water on your first day. Avoid any heavy activities. You can spend the rest of the day adjusting to the high altitude. Stay overnight at the hotel.

After breakfast, Drive along the Indus River to Sangam, where the Zanskar and Indus rivers meet. On the way, we’ll stop at Gurdwara Pathar Sahib, see Magnetic Hill (where cars seem to move on their own), and visit the Hall of Fame Museum with Kargil War exhibits. Later, we’ll go to Shanti Stupa. Afterwards, return to your hotel and relax. Stay overnight at the hotel.

After breakfast, check out of the hotel and begin the drive to Nubra Valley via Khardungla, the world’s highest motorable road at 18,832 feet. From the pass, you will see stunning snow-covered peaks and mountain views. The route also crosses a glacier bridge listed in the Guinness World Records.

As you drive through the valley, you will find plenty of beautiful spots for photography. Nubra Valley, known as the “Oasis of Ladakh,” is dotted with colorful trees. On arrival, you can try an adventurous ATV ride (Direct Payment Basis).

Later, check in at your camp. In the afternoon, visit the Hunder sand dunes, where you will see the unique double-hump Bactrian camels (camel rides available at extra cost). Spend some leisure time at the dunes around Hundur Village. In the evening, return to your camp for an overnight stay.

This journey takes you to one of Ladakh’s most fascinating yet less-visited destinations, recently opened to tourists. Along the way, you’ll pass spectacular mountain ranges and small villages.

The area is mainly guarded by the Ladakh Scouts, a special unit of the Indian Army. One of the villages here was recaptured by the Army in 1971. Many locals still have relatives across the Line of Control and rely on farming vegetables and apricots, as well as working as porters and mule providers. Baltistan is a beautiful village with warm, welcoming people. As one villager recalls: “On the night of December 13, 1971, the people of this village went to sleep in Pakistan. The next morning, they woke up in India.”

You’ll arrive in Turtuk, a remote corner of northwest Ladakh that was once part of Baltistan in PoK. After a full day of exploring this rugged region, Return to Nubra Valley in the evening. Overnight stay at the camp.

After breakfast, drive to Pangong Lake (14,500 ft) via Agham and Shyok village.  Pangong is the world’s highest saltwater lake, surrounded by the majestic Himalayas. On arrival, check in at your camp and have lunch. In the afternoon, relax and enjoy the stunning views of the blue lake. This spot is famous from many Bollywood movies, so take time to capture some great photos.

After sunrise, have breakfast, check out of the camp, and drive back to Leh. On the way, visit Thiksey Monastery, perched on a hill with stunning views of the Indus Valley. The monastery is famous for its large statue of Maitreya Buddha and its assembly hall filled with silk-bound prayer books.  Continue the drive past rows of chortens (stupas) to Shey Palace, once the summer residence of the King of Ladakh. By early evening, check into your hotel and relax. Later, you can visit the local market to shop for souvenirs (transport at extra cost). Dinner and overnight stay at the hotel.
